Toby’s story is one that too many amazing dogs share—and it nearly cost him his chance at a future. Before coming to us, Toby was just another stray, wandering the streets without a home, a family, or anyone to call his own. When he was finally picked up, he landed in a crowded shelter where he waited for someone to notice him. Despite his sweet heart, playful spirit, and endless loyalty, the shelter became overwhelmed with dogs in need, and Toby was at risk simply because space was running out. We knew he deserved a better chance. We knew someone out there would see the incredible dog he is—and we couldn’t let him be overlooked any longer. Today, Toby is living proof that second chances matter. He is the total package—house-trained, crate-trained, professionally trained, and absolutely adoring of people, kids, and other dogs. His favorite things in the world are butt scratches, squeaky toys, and snuggling up on your lap like he’s a tiny puppy. He has so much love to give—and he’s been waiting far too long for a family to give it to.
